The significant advantages of stainless steel stamped elbows: The density of stamped elbows is 0.89–0.91 g/cm³, only one-tenth that of steel pipes. Moreover, due to their light weight, they can substantially reduce transportation costs and the labor intensity of installation and construction in industrial applications.
The specific advantages of stainless steel stamping are as follows:
1. Lightweight.
The remarkable advantages of stainless steel stamped elbows
The density of stamped elbows is 0.89–0.91 g/cm³, only one-tenth that of steel pipes. Moreover, due to their light weight, they can significantly reduce transportation costs and lower the labor intensity of installation and construction.
2. Good corrosion resistance.
With the exception of a few hydrogenation agents, stamped elbows are resistant to corrosion by a wide variety of chemical media and exhibit excellent acid resistance, alkali resistance, and corrosion resistance. They do not rust, corrode, harbor bacteria, or suffer from electrochemical corrosion.
3. Good thermal insulation.
Due to the low thermal conductivity of the material used for stamped elbows—ranging from 0.21 to 0.24 W/m·K at 20°C—which is significantly lower than that of steel pipes (43–52 W/m·K) and copper pipes (333 W/m·K), PP-R pipes exhibit excellent thermal insulation properties.
4. Good heat resistance.
When the working water temperature of the stamped elbow is 70 degrees, the softening temperature is 140 degrees.
